Research
Over the past five years, faculty members at the School have actively undertaken research projects, with cumulative funding exceeding RMB 74 million. More than 70 projects at the provincial/ministerial level or above have been initiated or completed, including those under the National Key R&D Program of China, projects from the National Natural Science Foundation of China (general and youth programs), and projects from the National Social Science Foundation of China (key, general, youth, and late-stage funding programs), as well as projects from the Ministry of Education Humanities and Social Sciences Foundation. Among the completed projects, the School has received more than 10 provincial/ministerial-level scientific research achievement awards.
During this period, faculty have published over 200 papers indexed in SCI/SSCI and more than 130 papers indexed in CSSCI. The School is also home to three provincial/ministerial-level think tanks: the "Investment Model and Regulation for China's Major Engineering Technology 'Going Global'" think tank, the "Circular Economy and Green Development Research Center," and the "Smart Safety and Innovation Management Research Center." Additionally, it hosts two Tianjin Key Research Bases in Humanities and Social Sciences: the "Investment and Engineering Cost Research Center" and the "Circular Economy and Corporate Sustainable Development Research Center."
The School boasts three Tianjin University Innovation Teams: the "Circular Economy and Corporate Sustainable Development Research Team," the "Enterprise Innovation Engineering Team," and the "Public Project Management and Engineering Cost Team." Significant research outcomes have been achieved across multiple fields, including investment decision-making and digital project management, ecological industrial engineering and green supply chain management, safety management and smart human factors engineering, as well as data intelligence science and enterprise innovation engineering.
